Opaskwayak Health Branch
The right care, in the right place, based on equality, trust and respect.

At Opaskwayak Health, we deliver safe, kind and respectful health services that reflect our culture and our healing traditions.

We work for better standards of health and health care for our people.

We deliver services to Opaskwayak Ininew through the Beatrice Wilson Health Centre, the Rod McGillivary Memorial Care Home, in people’s homes, in schools, on-line and out in the community.

We have four strategic priorities, they are:

  1. Acquire funding and human resources for the Phase 2 expansion of health services.

  2. Continue to develop the Primary Care Clinic that will expand into Phase 2 (NUKA).

  3. Ensure health staff have career plans that they are achieving through ongoing education and training.

  4. Strengthen our clinical, political and community partnerships.
